Kenyon Grant grew up in the woods. An artist based in Bass Harbor, Maine, she holds a BFA in Painting from Maine College of Art. She works as Director of Creative Services for College of the Atlantic.

She is co-adopter of the Maine Woods Initiative's Third Mountain Trail and has hiked most of the blue-blazed trail system in Western Connecticut. She is certified in Wilderness First Aid. An avid cook and gardener, she counts fermenting and preserving among her hobbies. During the winter, she snowshoes and knits hats. Her favorite author is Jim Harrison.

Exhibitions include: 100 Mile Village, The Dehn Gallery (curator); Emerging Artists of Portland, Irvine Gallery; and Love Notes to Banned Books (curator). Her poetry has been published in The Sandy River Review.
